We believe that it is normal for any student to be able to achieve straight A’s in school. In our educational system, any student who wants to, who is armed with the right skills and strategies, can achieve straight A’s.
When a student is not achieving straight A’s, usually it boils down to one or more of these three reasons:
(1) There may be specific gaps in the student’s knowledge base. Perhaps the student was absent from class on the day a topic was covered, or the class moved too quickly through a subject. Unfortunately, our schools don’t always have the resources to provide the individualized instruction to fill these gaps.
(2) The student may need instruction in specific study skills. Although the schools teach some study skills, the main focus is to provide instruction in specific subject areas.
(3) The student may be discouraged with a particular class or with school in general and may have lost the motivation to keep performing at an elite level.
Once these barriers are removed, there is no limit to what a student can achieve!
